Matt talks Hastings

DSC 8613

You don't get many bigger games than against arguably the biggest club in the league. With the fan base, new stadium on the horizon, the incredible number of people behind the scenes, a sizeable academy and 10s of teams in the youth section Hastings are certainly the envy of most at our level.

Possibly second favourites to Cray it’s no surprise Hastings are second in the table and go into the game as major favourites I would expect but we'll be fully focusing on ourselves and what we do as we have no pressure on us to go out and play. We should welcome back Ben Wilson, after missing last week having played in the previous two wins, which gives us further options at the back.

As well as Ben being back we should have new signing Lee Prescott making his debut, after an operation on his nose, which will be a massive bonus going into the last games of the season.  Lee brings so much experience and will add another dynamic to the group.

Hastings are a very mobile and quick team with so much talent at their disposal, so whichever team they put out, we will have to be on our game to take something from it, it’s a game tactically I look forward too and tomorrow will be no different. We will be missing Drew Cooney who is away on business, but other than that we should be at full strength.

Thanks again for your continued support,  we have two massive home games in the next few days (with Horsham visitng on Tuesday night) so please get behind the players and make yourselves heard.

Enjoy the game
